2011 Topanga Canyon Banjo and Fiddle ContestThat’s Right. On Sunday, May 15th, 2011, the Dietz Bros had a booth showcasing some of their great guitars at the world famous Topanga Canyon Banjo and Fiddle Contest at the Paramount Movie Ranch in the Agoura Hills. This is Southern California’s favorite bluegrass, old-time and folk music event. See www.TopangaBanjoFiddle.org for details. The brothers were joined by Takamine clinician and amazing instrumentalist Brad Davis. Check out his cool video below.

Susan Dietz performed at the Trinity Lutheran Church!  Friday, November 5, 2010 at 12:15 p.m. SUSAN DIETZ soprano and VICTORIA KIRSCH piano Soprano, Susan Dietz began winning classical vocal competitions at 16 and singing professionally by 18. She has studied with Mady Mesple of the Paris Opera; Jean Gireaudeau of the Paris Opera Comique; James Miller from the University of Oregon as well as sopranos Josephine Lott and Annette Warren Smith. She has sung with the San Francisco Opera, Orange County Opera, Long Beach Opera, Los Angeles Master Chorale, South Bay Master Choral, and the Oregon Bach Festival. Susan keeps busy with opera and oratorio work on the West Coast and has been the resident soloist at the historic Wayfarers Chapel for 25 years. |
