Brass Ensemble - Thursday - 3:30 - 4:30pm
Dietz Brothers Music is excited to offer a 14-week intensive program for a chance to shine in small ensembles of 3-6 musicians. Learn in an intimate environment with an emphasis on individual attention. No large groups here– just pure collaboration and musical synergy.
Many musicians don't encounter these ensemble opportunities until college, yet chamber ensembles often form the backbone of a musician's repertoire. Start honing your ensemble skills now and gain a competitive edge as you advance in your musical studies.
Led by Killian Mulrooney, teaching assistant to the USC Trojan Marching Band as well as a teacher at Dietz Bros Music for the last 2 years, he has played professionally all over the world including local venues like the Walt Disney Concert Hall and the Hollywood Bowl with the Los Angeles Philharmonic.
Our ensemble programs run September 5- December 12 and February 6-May 15 (one week off for Thanksgiving and Spring Break), with a program wide recital on the last day. All instruments have a place in our ensembles so please reach out if you have any questions!
Throughout Killian's life he’s taught at nearly every level, from elementary school bands to college age students and above. While he’s played in concert halls across the world from Vienna to London, his proudest moments are right here in SoCal at venues like the Walt Disney Concert Hall and even the Hollywood Bowl with the LA Philharmonic.
